When individual housing units are clustered together the quality of the communally shared open space becomes a critical determining factor of the overall livability of the entire complex. RBA has designed restorative residential environments for many large urban multi-family housing developments. In addition to gardens, courtyards, terraces, play spaces, sports courts and pool facilities, our projects typically address site circulation issues and include plans for landscaped walkways, drives, parking areas and trails. RBA also has expertise in the design of ecological ‘green’ roofs. At RBA we take pride in creating meticulously detailed outdoor living-environments that offer amenity and sanctuary.
