
The RBA Group's golf course design staff, headed by A. John Harvey, ASGCA, has worked on the new course design and remodeling of numerous new and existing golf courses in the United States and abroad. Many projects have involved working in and around a variety of site conditions including environmentally sensitive wetlands and watercourses, steep slopes, rock quarries, sand and gravel mines, intracoastal soil disposal sites, archeological sites, coastal frontage, brownfields and on the shores of municipal drinking water reservoirs. The planning and permitting process for new course development can sometimes become quite lengthy. Our course design staff has the expertise to guide the route planning and detailed design through the agency review process. For the remodeling or renovation of existing golf courses, our golf course architects have successfully demonstrated its abilities to develop well crafted master plans and has supervised their reconstruction through hands-on field design. RBA serves both public and private sector clients.
