THE RBA GROUP COMPLETES EMERGENCY CONTRACT FOR THE NEW YORK CITY DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION
New York – Due to the severity of the drought affecting the metropolitan area, it was essential for the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation to install six new wells in order to water the trees, shrubs and gardens in their public parks throughout the five boroughs. The design of these wells, which was successfully completed by The RBA Group, will provide the New York City Parks with their own much needed water source. The RBA Group effectively completed this emergency contract to the client's complete satisfaction, in only one short month from order-to-work to bidding. This project has been named June 2002 Capital Project of the Month, and is featured on the Department of Parks and Recreation's website. RBA continues to work on the project by providing construction administration services.
The RBA Group is a multi-disciplined firm of engineers, architects and planners who have served the building and infrastructure needs of municipalities, state, federal and private companies for over 34 years.
