The RBA Group of professional planners can develop context sensitive design solutions for municipalities, boroughs, and towns. Our planners study the relationship of an existing road with the community that surrounds it. They will identify the purpose of the road and will give recommendations to improve the usage of the road. Our team of specialists are skilled at integrating complex local, state, and federal regulations and negotiating with downtown/ neighborhood development agencies, planning boards, and government agencies. All of our efforts are targeted to get your project planned, permitted, designed, and constructed within budget and schedule.
The New Jersey Department of Transportation contracted The RBA Group to provide a Fair Lawn Avenue pedestrian/bicycle corridor study. The main objective of this effort was to improve pedestrian and bicycle safety especially at school crossings and the commercial district. Not only do we analyze roads within communities, but we can also analyze transit accessibility along corridors. We provided such a study for the Delaware Department of Transportation with the goal to assess multi-modal linkages and opportunities for public/private partnership for the improvement of statewide transit access and bicycle and pedestrian transportation facilities.
