Where it makes sense, a fairway re-contouring program can be implemented to complement bunker and green complex improvements. Soft flowing curves look more natural than straight, flat, geometric shapes. These modifications would need to follow design strategies, golf features, terrain and irrigation patterns.
In some cases existing fairway turf can be sod cut, stripped and flipped into new recontoured areas. While in other cases, simply changing the mow lines aerifying, seeding and top dressing will work.
