The construction phase begins with the selected Contractor, Design Team and Owner's representative scheduling a site pre-construction meeting and walkthrough to review the plans, construction schedule, site issues, permit conditions, project approach and phasing of the work. Throughout the construction process at representative stages of course construction, the Golf Course Architect and other Design Team Members will review the quantity and quality of the work with the Contractor and Owner. The Golf Course Architect's coordination with the Shapers during field design implementation is essential in monitoring that the design intent, strategic goals and detail work is properly executed.
