For over 20 years our architects at The RBA Group have provided architectural design services for several military installations located within the northeastern United States. We understand the unique needs of the various divisions of our armed forces as well as the unique challenges each face with specialized training, equipment storage and maintenance, testing/laboratory facilities, administrative office complexes, and housing. RBA has also provided quality design solutions for on-base community support facilities such as fitness, religious, firehouses, daycare centers, and educational facilities.

Several years ago the bulk of our work was comprised of IDIQ contracts that were primarily focused on renovation/rehabilitation projects. With the establishment of BRAC and the resulting new focus for our armed forces, the complete adoption of design/build enables the DOD to mobilize their efforts with greater cost efficiencies. RBA architects have provided quality design as part of a design/build team. We understand the many unique design challenges including blast resistance and security issues related to the armed forces and we bring this experience to every military project we undertake.
