Master Planning is an overall assessment of an existing facility. The services involve examining the functional needs of the system and developing a working database of field information on the facility. After obtaining the field data, the information is organized into a database and summary reports are written describing recommended improvements for repair, replacement, new construction, code, ADA and general maintenance. Ultimately, the master plan will guide the organization in addressing these concerns in a cost efficient manner.

The RBA Group has been providing master planning services to clients, both public and private, for over three decades. We recently finished a master plan for the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections for the assessment of the state correctional facilities. Our architects surveyed more than 15 state facilities in order to provide a current report of existing conditions.

We have recently completed a master plan for the County College of Morris, which included a planning document for academic expansion, a childcare center, ADA compliance survey and an overall facility survey for all campus buildings.
