At The RBA Group we have provided quality design solutions for numerous health care institutions. Our projects encompass relatively simple and small medical clinics to hospitals. RBAs' architects understand the need to design a facility with flexibility thus offering the ability for the institution to meet any demands related to new technologies, new treatment methodologies, changes in diseases, and changes in the patient population. The health care industry has seen a trend in the reduction of in inpatient care while outpatient services have steadily increased. There has also been increasing demand for special-care units and smaller satellite facilities rather than large centralized facilities. In the course of these institutional changes, RBA has been providing design services to meet these new demands as well as effectively providing comprehensive design services for perhaps the newest and hottest trend: health and wellness centers that focus on a holistic, preventative, and continuous care platform.

For our health care clients and their resulting institutions we design a building that offers a pleasant and non-threatening environment for patients while offering optimal security for these same patients and visitors. HIPAA regulations have also had an impact on design and we make every effort to provide the proper security and privacy of files inclusive of security and access, acoustical treatments and visual privacy of files. At RBA, we understand that good design in the health care setting not only addresses basic functional needs but also meets the emotional needs of those who use the facility.
